I am looking for a used 2011 QX56 with bench seat and the 22" wheels without the deluxe touring package. The only ones I'm finding have bucket seats. I'm wondering if I get the bucket seats, can I find a bench seat and swap them? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Swap bench for Captain's Chairs
Is it possible to change out the middle row bench seat for 2 captain's chairs and a console in the 2011-13 QX? Found the perfect preowned price, miles, color, but it has a bench and not the captains chairs which are a must for me. Can the dealer swap them out, or this not possible. Anyone on here want to trade?

We are currently considering purchasing a new or used QX56 and need the opposite. We want the bench seat and it seems most cars we look at have the captain's chairs.
I'm sure it can be done, just not sure of the cost or what might be needed to make it work.

We actually wanted a bench and could not find it so I removed the rear console to pack a walkway to the back row. It works great for my little girls. When they get older I can just re-install the center console. And since I wrapped it before putting it in a sealed bag in my garage, it will look brand new.

No one actually says if they have successfully done this. I am buying an '09 QX56 with the captains chairs and console but would prefer to swap it for the bench if it's possible. Does anyone know if it will actually really work? I don't want to just remove the console, I would like the bench all the way across.

first off the 2009 is different a bit from 2011+.
you can swap seats with armadas and qx's in your year back to 2008 really.
its been done successfully on the new q and old q. its just bolts.

Hello i have a 05 i have the bucket seat in the sec row i am looking to take the middle cup holder out and put in a seat in there anyone ever done this or know if i can just get the seat and bolt it on i can get one from a junk yard would this just bolt on anyone know thanks.

It’s the same car as the qx as they are both made on the same line in japan. The bolt pattern should be the same.

Yes its been done many times. Your 15 is the same as 11 and up qx. Perhaps this discussion can give you some information you need.
