I have a 2001 QX4 with 170k miles on it. I have kept up with the recommended maintainence (usually cheating a few thousand miles wont hurt) and it still runs like a charm! I have had no problems with this vehicle whatsoever. All my friends call it a "luxury tank" because it is such a reliable and safe vehicle. Finding that year model with that few miles on it is a steal. I personally prefer the newer body style but either way the Nissan engine will run forever as long as you take car of it.
If it’s a 2004 model with 300,000 miles would that be a good car to purchase? My 1997 QX4 Has 189,000+ Miles On It!
I bought my QX4 with 70,000 miles on it back in 2000 and it has never left me stranded. It has been a great SUV! I now have almost 190,000 miles on it and still going strong! I take good care of my QX4 so I am sure that has made it even better. I do preventative maintenance, kept up with the dealers scheduled maintenances and I change the oil every 3k miles. I highly recommend the Infiniti QX4!
The only negative thing I can say about my 1997 QX4 is that I wish it had more power. It only has 168 hp and weighs over 5000 lbs! If I would buy another QX4 I would buy a 2001 or later model since they put a bigger motor in it (240 hp) and improved the suspension.
I have a 2002 qx4 I’ve driven it to Texas and stl several times and I’m at 206k miles and it’s still goingWe are looking at a used 1998 with 89k on it right now and most reviews say it is a very reliable vehicle, but I haven't seen anything past 100k miles.
