93 j30 not starting

on my 93 j30 i started it this morning put it in gear and it died now it wont start again it trys to but just wont run any ideas on whats wrong

J30 will not start.

I had this happen with mine. What I was told to do is press the gas pedal all the to the floor and try starting it while you have all the way to the floor.
This does something to the computer, clears out some codes, I don't know but
it works. It may take a few trys, but you will get it.
