I'm looking to replace the stock bump stops with Timberins for rv towing. The nut on the bump stop looks to be encased in a void that's welded on all sides. How do i get to this nut and remove? Do I even need to get to the nut or is the bump stop removed a different way? Thanks.

You’ll need a 80mm deep socket or spanner wrench to remove the OE rear bump stops.
Just to be clear, the bump stops are mounted on the frame not on the coils. Does your 2 options apply? Thanks

Correct. The rear bump stops are mounted on the frame, right above the rear UCAs.
