2011QX56 Mounting Front License Plate without drilling holes or mounting to grill.

I have a 2011 QX56 and want to mount the front license plate without drilling holes in the bumper or without mounting it on the front grill.

I noticed underneath the front-end of the vehicle, there appears to be two screw in bolts that appear would work with two small 'L' shaped angle brackets (with bolt holes). At which point, the rectangular chrome license plate frame would mount to each of the 'L' shaped angle brackets.

I am looking for any thoughts or comments from the online community.

If your state requires front plates, then the dealership can probably tell you how to mount them without drilling... Since some states do not require front plates, the dealers have to be able to accommodate both.
 
yes... if your State requires a front plate, and you bought your QX from that State, have the dealer install the front mounting kit at THEIR COST.

I live in maryland, and these idiot cops love to make their quota on this $60 "violation"!! what a crock of a rule... revenue generater. I musta gotten pulled over 6 times in my audi for not having a front plate. but at least the A8 was looking sharp!!! A front plate distracts from the beauty of a car... like a zit to a teenager!!
 
I live in PA where no front plates are required. I picked my new QX56 Satuday and the idiot Detailer screwed the front plate mounting bracket right into my pristine bumper. I am so mad I could chew nails! I didn't even notice until after they were closed. Needless to say, I'll be bitching up a storm tomorrow.

wow!!! what did the dealer/manager say when u took it back in??? I hope they didn't give u some bullshit reply such as "that's how Infiniti wants us too do it"!!
