My 2011 was doing the same thing for a few years and attributed it to what Marc and the dealership stated. Just rode it out until March 23, 2015 when I went in for service I mentioned it again. Service adviser stated there was a technical service bulletin (ITB12-016b) out to replace left power seat control unit assembly which also has something to do with the memory for mirrors and the seat. Time will tell if this fixes the issue.
