After we blew the fusible link we replaced it, started it up and the temperature gauge went up. Now it's not running hot but the temperature gauge went way to hot and there's no heat.. hoses are got no pressure, yet still says hot , this never happened prior to the fusible link issue.. any info would be great

could have some wiring issues so this could be a rabbit hole. difficult to say.

How did you blow the fusible link? If shorted by crossing the wrong cables during a jump or touching the battery terminals at the same time via a metal object, then likely burnt up related fuses and/or relays. Start there and if those check out, you might need a full range scan tool to check the ECM and BCM.
