2011 M37 acceleration + questions! (potential buyer)
Hello one and all: My wife is very interested in the M37x. I just test drove it for the first time, and I expected smoother transition from gear to gear, esp when I stomped on the accelerator. For reference the Lexus GS 350 and the BMW 535i were much smoother.
Q: Is it just the car I was driving or that "just the way it is". I had the dial set on "standard".
Q2: How does Nissan service work you that live far from the dealer.
FYI: Our current drive is a 1997 740il (original owner).
My wife like the M but the acceleration and the distance of the dealer (2 hrs away) are my greatest concerns.
There is a Nissan dealer here in Hooterville (Salisbury, MD) who I have confirmed will do Infiniti service.
The BMW controls were just too complicated for her, and the Lexus interior was not sporty enough for her.
I will have the car I buy for a long time, so I'm trying to do it right.
Thanks in advance for your help!
