2008 QX56 Rough Ride

Greetings All,

I recently purchased a 2008 QX and had some questions about the ride quality. The car has 53000 miles on it and it seems to feel every bump and hole in the road. I believe the QX has the self leveling air suspension and was wondering if shocks/struts tend to go bad sooner because of this. Or does the truck just naturally have a rough ride?

Any thoughts would be appreciated....

Bumpy Ride

We had the same problem to the point it was getting dangerous...the steering wheel would shake to the point you felt like it was going to jump out of your hands. We took it to the Infinity dealer (while under warranty) and they said the ride was "normal". We took it to our local mechanic who put new struts on and just like that...problem solved. They did discover a service bulletin where one of the rear shocks leaks. We are going to have that fixed too but the struts solved the obnoxious ride problem.
