2008 G35S Questions

I'm new to the forum and the Infiniti family as this is my first. I just purchased a 2008 G35S with 27k miles and have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.

Car has a 5spd Auto and I was wondering how many RPM's should the engine ne turning at 70 mph?

Does this engine have a timing belt and what is the interval?

Also, I usually do my own maintenance and was wondering how hard is this vehicle to change the oil in?

RPMs seem too high?

Hi, I've also purchased an 07 G35 and can attest that the rpms seem high at cruise, but rest assured they are right. at 70mph I usually see 2800+ rpm and like 3200 at 80.....yes this does effect gas mileage , but its part of the package. As far as the oil..your still able to do it yourself..you just need to remove the front splashguard cover. I would recomend that you use full synthetic oil in order to increase you service mile interval....every 5000 miles should be a good healthy interval. Hope this helps
