I just noticed a Ticking noise in the dashboard. Its ticks about 5 times, when I start my Truck, then I hear it when I turn my truck off. Thats it. I dont hear it while driving. My truck doesn't run any different, still runs good.

could be a stuck vent door in the HVAC system. turn your hvac system on high and change the air flow settings to different sections form defog, to face to floor with the fan speed on high. see if you hear any noise you mention.
My wifes 2007 QX56 had the clicking noise, only at startup. maybe 8 clicks, took it in and they said it is a blend door issue.
also have a part name question, the dashboard vents on the truck need to be replaced, any tips on where to find those and maybe a video for install?? tks

2007 QX56 Back Glass Hatch Problem
I have had my SUV for about 3 years, and I have open the Back Glass Harch about 3 times....Some times it will open...Most times it wont....Am I doing something wrong?..All the doors are unlock. The power rear hatch opens with no problem...just the top back glass hatch..Any suggestions???
