Checked all fuses. Removed radio from dash disconnected all connectors. All wires look ok. Reinstalled radio and sound returned. Put everything back together. Problem fixed. Wrong. Shut car down. Started back up. No sound. Cant change mode com am/fm/cd/DVD or even station have no volume. Have tried to disconnect battery. For 30 min. And same thing. Have disconnected amp. Same thing. Steering controls not working only for phone. And rear controls only for headphones. Please help. What's next. Hooking up obd2 now.

thats a head scratcher bro.

what happened to cause the sound to go out? you have an aux port right? the 3.5mm? can you get sound from that?

did anything happen prior to this all occurring? need more data to try and help over the internet...

No aux port. It just went out. I cant get sound from anything but bluetooth phone.
Not even nav guidance.

Maybe the amp is not working. Do you have access to the service manual? That can show you where the amp is.

But I’m confused.. you can hear call audio through the speakers but no sound at all from anything else? Do you have the entertainment paxckage installed? Are there any modifications done to the radio system? Have you had this car since birth or a recent purchase?

It could be your clockspring . These are attached serially to the system and could cause issues also.
