2004 Infinity qx 56

I have a 2004 infinity qx 56 and when I unlock the doors the hatch open also and it wouldn't stay close I have to keep pressing the button or close it manually sometimes 4 or 5 times can anyone help thanks

when you say the "hatch opens" do you mean it automatically raises the door up or does it just unlock it? want to make sure when you say "opens" you mean the entire hatch physically opens up.

could be an issue with the BCM (Body Control Module) , the switch assembly in the hatch, the remote fob, and/or the wire harness in the rear.

are you unlocking with the FOB or the master switch on the drivers door?

When I use the remote to unlock the doors the hatch opens up all the way up n it takes several times for it to stay close it would keep opening back up

so in addition to what i mentioned above, the switch and lock mechanism could be misaligned, or there is debris in the switch assembly. have you visually checked the lock mechanism on the hatch door?

so what if you use the master switch to unlock the car ? does that also cause the hatch door to open up?

did you just buy this car or have you had it for a while? do you recall anything transpiring prior to this occurring that may have led to the hatch door acting this way?

I kind of remember it happened like a year ago but it went back to normal n I have my truck for like 9yrs now when I unlock the car with the remote one click for the driver two for the rest of the doors as soon as I open any doors the hatch opens as well

sounds like you need to have a shop look at it. we can speculate over the internet all day.
