At 90000 miles the dealership in Tacoma wanted a 90k service at $1400 and replace CAT the cause of SES light coming on , $2500 to fix that , we got transmission fluids replaced elsewhere and declined the 90k service and CAT replacement recommendations, was told we would have serious problems in future if not replaced so SES light has been on since 90k miles and now at 152k miles and at 120k miles the vehicle started having shifting problems going uphill at 20 mph (knocking) and would clunk shift into a gear at 55 mph going uphill with a thud and rpms gauge would bounce and slightly jerk. We took it in to a local mechanic shop and they told us to replace torque converter for $2400 labor and parts and Infiniti dealership in Tacoma at Fife says Transmission needs replaced for $7500 , we’ll first they said $12000 and $4400 for torque converter then they came down to the $7500 and they updated the Transmission computer and now it drives way better and does a little of what I explained and we are trying to trade it in but will only get $7000 for trade in value. Sad cause I really like this vehicle.
