138,000 maintenance

Greetings all,

New to the forum so hello to all. My 2005 has been a pretty good SUV overall. I just put new tires on it so I guess I plan on keeping it for another 50K. So my question is this. Does anyone have suggetions for preventative maintenance that should be done so it doesn't fall apart on me in the next few years. I have done all general maintenance but never have had to do any major engine/tranny fix. I don't mind doing it if it need/should be done so I don't end up in that spot where you have a 2k fix on a 15k SUV. Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

welcome dave...I also have a 2005 with 133K miles on it. The previous owner, family friend, had it perfectly maintained and there's simply nothing wrong with it. I'm also using his mechanic so he knows everything about it. Obviously this doesn't help you, sorry...but I'm also putting 22's on it in a few weeks so I'll also be keeping it for a while

Need help please. New to the forum!!! My 2006 infinity qx 56 has 135000 miles. Just bought it from an infiniti dealership. Dont know if it needs tune up or not?drives very, except at freeway speed, and you try for a quick acceleration, then it struggles, and rides rough, but generally it drive well untill i do a sudden acceleration. Thanks

spark plugs ever been changed on it?

in addition to the above,

look at the IPDM (google is your friend-- search "armada IPDM")

fuel pump could be clogged
