'12 QX Power outlet and Playstation 3 compatibility.

My concern is whether the 120V power supply will have enough juice for a new generation PS or Xbox. I have heard conflicting info and don't want to plug in until I'm sure. Not bringing a TV onboard, just game system, maybe a DVD player for the kids. Any help appreciated.

that's a great ?, a PS3 draws 380 watts, which is about 3x a typical laptop power supply. I'm not sure what a DVD player draws but it's likely much less than the PS3. Did you try asking the dealer service or calling Infiniti directly? That's quite a load to drive the PS3..

why not just purchase a 50-60 dollar inverter from walmart and be done with it?

i take it you dont have the headrest system in your car?

in the owners manual, it states the load that the power port can handle.

funny.. i tried connecting my 160g ps3 slim and it wouldn't turn on.. there was power to light up the red led light on it though..lol
