I have an 08 Infinity QX56. I was towing my boat, and everything was good. I Stopped to fuel it up and went to pull away but tranny would not go into gear. It just revved up like in neutral. The Reverse gear was fine. All forward gears would just rev/slip. The funny thing is, when I disconnected from the trailer everything worked fine. Solidly in gear.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might cause this? Not throwing any codes. The fluid level is good. The boat and trailer and full fuel weigh way less than the 10k tow weight capacity. Prob around 3k-4k if that. This was a few days ago and it has been running fine. No problems. I have not tried to tow with it again.
