06 QX56 Battery

Has anyone replaced a battery in an 06 QX56? The Napa store is telling me the vehicle shift release has to be reset when replacing the battery. Anyone run in to this or no the procedure for replacing?

Have you checked the owner's manual? If not there, the factory service manual should tell you.

why dont you ask the local infiniti dealer?? why settle on what some part time clerk at a parts store suggests?

that said, ive not ever heard of needing to do anything of that nature. when power is removed from the car, settings (ecm, etc) sometimes RESET themselves back to a learning state.
