ipod/iphone integration

I just purchased a used 2012 Infiniti QX 56 an noticed there is no USB Port located as indicated in the Owner's Manual. There is a black hole. It appears from other posts that these were standard in 2011 models and above. Why is mine missing? Can I get one from somewhere and install? Anyone know...

I'm being a little lazy right now, as I don't wanna go out to the truck in the cold and pull out the owner's manual But how/where do u plug in an IPod to play music through the AUX channel?? Do I need a special cable? thanks
