2012 Qx 56 Rear AC not blowing

The Ac in the front of Truck is working fine. Not sure why rear isn't blowing. Controls are working but no air is coming out.

The rear has it’s own motor/blower. It shares refrigerant with the front.

Could be a fuse, could be an electrical fault. If you are handy with servicing you can troubleshoot by getting the service manual online (free).

I assumed it had a separate motor/blower but I am having trouble finding information about the part and location in the truck. We have check the fuses also?

You can obtain the service manual online for free. Just search for it and you will find it. Then you cano get into that section and see the parts.

You can also go to an online parts store and see their exploded parts view.

I am having the same problem in my 2013 QX56.
  1. Downloaded the HAC factory service manual
  2. Began diagnostic on the rear blower motor, pg. HAC-127
  3. Checked 20 amp fuse (no.16 in the fuse box under driver's side dash) - result = OK (Note: Just for good measure, I also checked fuses 4, 9, and 19 since they also affect the A/C auto amp.)
  4. I also plan to check relay number 10 in Relay box number 1 (in the engine compartment on the passenger side beside the fuse box) since it controls the rear A/C. See this link for more information: Fuse Box Diagram Infiniti QX56 / QX80 (Z62; 2010-2017)
  5. The next step involves removing the passenger side luggage compartment finisher - lots of stuff to remove to be able to get to the wiring harness connecting to the rear blower to check terminals 1 and 3 on the M302 connector.
  6. If that passes, you must disassemble the front dash partially to get to the M50 connector on the A/C auto amp (HVAC control) to be able to check for continuity in the harness that connects the front A/C control to the rear blower. Need continuity between connector M302-terminal 2 and connector M50-terminal 34.
  7. If there is continuity, then the manual says that either A/C auto amp or the actual rear blower motor will need to be replaced.
I will try to update with my findings once completed.
