my vote - no..

good to know! I just wanted to set it apart b/c there are 2 other silver ones in my neighborhood. Glad I asked.
The hubby will be happy :)

Mary:

Sorry to disagree with everyone, I purchased the grill at the same time of purchasing the QX56. The dealer sold and installed it. I've no complaints with the product or the installation.

I happen to think it sets it apart and dresses it up quite nicely.

For the record .. I'm a 57 year old Caucasian male, in case somebody was wondering why I have/love this grill.

Thanks. I've seen it before and liked it. Hmmmmm....

I say, no, and believe me, I am all for aftermarket stuff, and individualizing your vehicle... but not with that grill. I saw a Q parked that had the grill and did not care for it.
We all do it differently, don't we?

And I'm a 51 year old, 32 year old male.

2 cents.

ok since we are qualifying ourselves...

i am a 40 (soon to be 41 in may) year old BLACK male. single, no children living the bachelor life in LA. I come from a history of 2 armadas. my last 2008 armada i had 24 inch wheels on the sucker plus a similar grille. although my armada was clean :D it was not ghetto or over the top.

the new (and even the old) Q is in a class all by itself. it does not need anything done to it (assuming you have the 22s from the factory). so what there are two other cars in your area, just think there are many more around the country and probably a few more in your city, so let that go.

There is only ONE MARY driving the only Q that matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the car is classy and clean,.. its like putting fuzzy dice on an aston martin. dont do it... ;)

Well being an older white guy (I write books to try and change the world www.mrbreezethenovel.com) who had one of these on the Range Rover I had before the QX56 I think they could look good on certain colors silver, white, but the front grille is big and it is going to get noticed. Amazed at the pricing though I had one put of the Range Rover 5 years ago it was a lot more than that.

My neighbor has that Grill... I don't like it at all! He's 45, but his wife drives it!

I am a 30 something year old GREEN martian male trying to take over the world and the QX looked like it would be a great interplanetary spacecraft but I don't particularly care for the grill. However, I am also one that if a majority dislikes the grill I may just get it to be different and go against the grain. So, Mary I have a feeling you like the grill and you should just get it.

Maverick; this is exactly why I got the grill, to go against the grain .. although I do like the look.

I love the looks I get, from people, upon exiting the vehicle after basing XM45 with said grill out front. Almost as if they were expecting somebody else. (big grin). Thus the earlier qualifying.

meh, i get looks and mouth drops just from the car being stock... ;)

but hey, to each his or her own. for the money its definitely not worth it.
