I have a great recommendation for snow chains/cables. There is a guy east of San Diego that specializes in snow traction for most vehicles, especially hard to fit applications. The owner, Tom, fitted my previous vehicle, a Mercedes R63 AMG w/20in wheels and tires with snow cables front and rear and they fit and worked great. The Mercedes owner's manual specifically stated that snow chains/cables would not fit this vehicle. He did such a great job that I drove to his shop and had him fit snow cables front and rear to my 2011 QX56. He does not ship so you must bring your vehicle to him for custom trim and fitment. I can't say enough about his knowledge or quality of his work. Here are his websites: http://www.snowtraction.com/ http://www.chainsbysnowbird.com/
The Super Z8's work great for the 22" tires. I have two pairs for front and back. I typically chain the drive (rear tires) if only using one pair. This will give the vehicle improved braking traction. However, in bad conditions chaining up all four tires including the front will improve steering and braking traction.
"THE choice for limited clearance small to medium commerical vehicles, RV's and larger SUV's. Requires only 8mm (5/16") of clearance to operate."
Thanks for the pics of the Z8's. I was looking at those since I can get through Amazon, but when you put in the vehicle it shows they aren't compatible. Glad to see that they are.
No problem. I used the comparable size of 305/45/22 and hoped for the best and it turned out that these fit perfect. Try looking on E-Bay becuase I found a brand new pair for $42 and another for $75. There is one on there right now for $99.

Thanks but I just bought the Z6's off amazon. I found a size like you that seemed to cover my 275/60-20 if not mentioned directly. I can't really find what the difference between the Z6 and Z8 is. Maybe Z8 is for larger tires overall? The marketing writeup sounds the same.
I think the Z8 has a thicker cable compared to the Z6. The Z6 requires only 6mm of operating space and the Z8 requires 8mm. Now that I just typed this out I see how they are appropriately named. The Z6 would actually fit low profile applications much better. Not sure if there is a performance difference.

Super Z8 is available to fit large pick-up and SUV tire sizes, as well as small-to-medium commerical trucks."

Ok. The Z6's didn't fit. Should have listened to the fitment guide I guess. I wonder if the Z8's you have will fit 20inch wheels as well. Should since the total circumference is almost the same. Looks like yours has plenty of slack. I couldn't get within 3 inches of fastening it.
