it IS a holiday weekend so most folks have familes are not not around a computer.

me. im by myself so i have all the time. :D

thats a lot of miles. those cars of that year had brake issues so check that out.

check out the manifolds. they crack.

tranny service. is it 4wd?

its not the mileage that is a concern. its the maintenance. also whats the asking price? cant be too much.

Thanks for answering :-) its a 2005 not 2006 and its 2wd 184k asking 10,500

well 2004-2006 are all lumped together.

Price sounds good but you should focus on maintenance records and VIN history.

Got it .. What are the one or two things I should check for when I take it for a car check down the dealer .

Is it an Infiniti or Nissan dealer? Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, etc. ? Or a used car lot that specializes in wholesale purchasing and sells with the promise everyone is financed? I would stay away from a used car lot such as that. The major dealerships will usually keep good cars (sell premium price) and take the beaters to auction or wholesale them to the shyster used car lots.
Look up the value of your intended vehicle in Kelly Blue Book or some similar online search. I did not search online but $10,600 seems a bit high for a 7 year old vehicle, depending on what region of the country you live in. Also, 180,000 miles is extremely high mileage, that is over 25,000 per year, average is about 15,000 per year.
As Marc said, transmission, brakes, maintenance/upkeep, carfax.
