Just to let everyone know, it doesn't integrate into the audio system. The only way to play music is to use steaming. I'm not happy about this.

Revised: I read on another forum that disabling i tunes match will allow it to work. I'll try later.

Disabled iTunes match and it still does not work. It just says There is no song. If you use the cord to charge it and switch to bluetooth, you are not able to open up your music as it says accessory attached. Very annoying.

Well that's going to suck - I've not tested yet. Do we know if this is an Apple issue or Infiniti one?

I spoke to Infinity today and they said they are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. I think its an Infinity issue. This was told to me by the service rep.

Thanks for posting!! I was wondering if the IP5 was compatible. I'm about to order one. Hopefully Infiniti will sort this out!

Yes, keep us in the loop. I have a iPhone5 and will want that functionality back.

I have a 2011 QX56 and hooked my iPhone 5 up with lightning connector attached to USB in center counsel. Everything seems to work fine?

My phone uses bluetooth to send signal to car stereo. When I run Pandora, I can change channels on the iPhone 5, but can pause and play on QX56 Screen or with controls on driving wheel.

When I switch to Music (iPod), the Qx-56 controls all music, shows artwork, etc. Everything seems to work fine?

CarbonZ , What year QX do you have?

I just checked mine using an iPhone 5 on my 2011 QX, with just the Ligtning cable (no 30-pin adaptor) and it worked fine. I chose the iPod input and all my playlists, artists, atrwork etc popped up just like on my previous iPhone 4S. Songs played fine as well.

Cool. I have a 2012, I'll verify in my rig once I finally get my hands on the Iphone 5! :)

working fine for me...

No problems with iPhone 5 and my 2012 qx. I plugged it into the usb port and it plays just fine. Bluetooth works awesome as well. Fwiw I have noticed the lag time when using steering wheel controls to skip to next song when using bluetooth is reduced with the iPhone 5 v my previous iphone 4.
