Beeping when door is open

Hi Everyone. When I shut down the car and open my door, a warning sound comes on and stays on until I shut the door again. I find this annoying and would like to disable the warning sound. I've looked through the various setting options but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

this cant be deactivated by normal means. the chime is controlled by the BCM. if it was remotely possible, you would need the nissan CONSULT to go into the BCM and change this. i would contact your local nissan/infiniti service center and ask if they can do this.

This may sound really, really weird, but we had the same trouble with a beep everytime we opened the door. The fog light switch was on (even though the lights were not as it was daytime) and the truck thinks you are leaving the lights on. Fog lights set to off solved the probelm. Very strange.

That's exactly why you get the beeps. If you turn the fog lights off you won't get the beeps.

I’m sitting here wondering how to turn the beeping off while my door is open, so I simply pushed the lock button on my remote and it stopped!

That's exactly why you get the beeps. If you turn the fog lights off you won't get the beeps.
