I had a brand new CVT tranny installed a month ago by the dealer in my 2013 Infiniti JX35 because it was constantly getting stuck in safe mode. Two days after I get it home the car gets stuck in safe mode. Won't drive over 30 mpgh. Dealer is now trying to charge me $4000 for a new wiring harness claiming that is the issue. So I brought the car to an auto electric specialist who was able to diagnose the problem. It is just the connector from the wiring harness to the CVT tranny which the dealer had to mess up when they installed the new tranny. I am still fighting with them about this but in the meantime I need my car to work properly.
Does anyone know where I can get one of these connectors? The dealers only sell the entire wiring harness itself for $2000+ and I can not even get two parts guys to agree on the correct part number.
