This is a very boring topic, but I can't seem to find good wiper refills rather than purchasing a whole new wiper arm as the dealer recommends. Anyone had any luck with this? Seems these days everyone wants to sell you an aftermarket cheap looking new arm but all that is really needed is the insert.

I have purchased these for my son's car (Honda Civic) he loved them. Take a look at Rain-X products for the Infiniti QX56. They are available for 2011 through 2014 and it appears to be blade only. It's a pretty comprehensive website, complete with detailed instructions-videos.

wiper blades

Yeah Rain-x is good. I have used them in the past. I bought a set of Michelin Stealth wiper blades this time. They had a new display at 'China-mart' and had two out of the package for viewing. They were like 12 or 13 bucks each or something like that.
I bought two, putting them on was a snap, right there in the china-mart parking lot ! Easiest ones I have ever replaced. Then took the QX to get the state revenuer Inspection.
Then didn't get to say the complementary phrase that pays
" You need wiper blades" this time.
LOL
That was last September and they are still super quiet. I don't like the clunk noise when cheapie blades change directions, but these Michelins are very quiet.(like the tires) :D
They look like the ones that came on the QX
Have a good one !

Dread;

What Michelin tires did you get? I am looking at them as well, but don't require tires just yet.

Hi Grillmaster : I haven't bought any for the QX yet. I am still running the original Bridgestones. I just have Michelin tires on my Jeep, D-Ram, and Lexus so far :)

Hopefully they will have them in the LTX M/S for the QX. Like to get a six-ply twenty for it. Then you would have a good towing machine.
Have a good one
