window lock-out button

hi i am coming over from a range rover

is there anyway to reprogram the window lockout feature
when in use all windows except drivers do not work at the respective door (okay) BUT also the driver cannot open them as well. this is a terrible design. i cannot open any other windows as the driver and then deactivate the button. of course i forget to reactivate the button and the toddlers have a field day with the windowns.

anyone know if I or dealer can adjust this so driver is also not locked out from controlling other windows.

I don't think so. the switch tells the brain to shut off control of the windows to the switches, the old days you could just power the switch, not anymore you need to reprogram, and it's not available from what I was told.
