What a STUPID A$$ Design

I'm going to haul some crap to the dump either tomorrow or Thursday, so I pull out the trailer and then start looking at how to remove the hitch cover. Thank god it's sunny and not raining. If it was raining I would really be pissed off.

They sure could have made the cover removal a lot easier.

You should be happy it's a pain to get off. My Escalade's cover always comes loose and just dangles there until I notice it. It's super annoying.

I agree. I use my hitch a lot, and got tired of taking the cover on and off (looks like crap with it off), so I had this mod performed to my cover.

Just got to undo the two tabs on mine and it comes right off. Simple.

I fought the tabs on the side. Those were a PITA.

yup.. i had the same issues trying to take the tabs off... just left them alone, because if they broke I'm sure the $tealer would break the bank to get me a new cover.

Really, took me literally 5 seconds. Not sure why you guys are struggling with it.

Next time I remove it, I'm going to remove part of the tab so it's easy to remove in the future.
