So check this one out..
I bought an 07 M35x (27,000K) last November. At the time of purchase, the rotors were warped (LOTS of shaking during braking).
The Infinit dealer re-surfaced them and got the situation fixed, free of charge.
Now, at 34,000 miles, its happening again.
The dealer now claims that the brake pads are "after market" and are causing the rotors to warp becaue they are getting to hot. THEREFORE, not their fault.
1. Are they BSing me on aftermarket pads warping my rotors due to heat?
2. Shouldn't they have caught this during the earlier brake re-surfacing?
Am I in the right to go after the dealer on this one?
Let me know what you guys think. Getting a bit sick of dealing w/ car dealers...
