Hopefully new QX owner, but I am looking for a used '12 QX56 and see anywhere from 43-57 for one. I just want to know what is a fair price to pay for a loaded 2012 with 30k miles? Any information would be helpful.

There are so many variables that it makes it tough to narrow the range much more than you already have. If you check KBB on an absolutely loaded 2012 4WD with 30k, you're looking at just about $60k. From there, it depends on your trade, time of the month, dealer's need to move inventory, and many other factors.

If you have access to a '12 fully loaded with 30k miles for $43k, let me know where to find it. For that price, I'd buy a spare one.

I'm looking at a 2011 with 39,000 and the tech, touring and theatre packages. asking 47 but gonna offer 43.

First time poster - learning so much about this vehicle...

I found a 2012 QX56 with every option - ~9,000 miles listed for $63,900. My wife has specific requirements - white exterior with the wheat (tan/beige) interior, AWD - and of course my requirements include the rest of the options list...

Anyhow - (Q1) What is a reasonable price to offer / pay for the 2012? (Q2) What are some prices paid / or what are expectations for pricing on the 2014 QX80's fulled loaded (MSRP ~$79K)?

If there is another thread I need to post this to - I'll be happy to...

FWIW, I just got a new 2013 QX56 with the 2nd row bench and theater package for 60.5k. That's about 9k off of retail. It required minimal negotiation to get there. That was Oct., so not sure if incentives have changed for dealers now. Bottom line, I was looking at a 2012 that had been in service for 2 years with 25k miles, and the lowest I could get the dealer was down to 56.5k . Given only 4k difference between new and used, I ended up going with the new vehicle.

Fair Price 2012 QX56

Been reading this forum for a while and think I am ready to leave BMW for a QX56. Looking at a used 2012 black/wheat AWD with theater package, 15k miles.

Asking price is $58k, which seems absurd given that this is probably the original net sale price in 2012. QX56 has not been a big seller in this region, there is plenty of used inventory spread across the 7 Infiniti dealers in 60 mi radius.

Based on your experience, what is a fair price for a car like this?

go into the dealer with a KBB TRADE-IN value (fair condition) in hand... offer them that. They still make money on the deal.

Finding a loaded... Touring tech theatre pkg w/ 4wd in low mileage 2011 to 2012 is difficult at best. That particular animal has been illusive nationally. I'd been looking for several months promising myself not to buy one with over 45k miles. FINALLY found one in Chicago and it was about as perfect as I could have asked for. Flew up from South Carolina and promised it she'd never see another northern winter again. Ours is a 2011 dark currant w/ blk interior 4x4 with absolutely everything in babied condition... 43k miles and pd $43k. Upgraded from a 2004 loaded qx56 which we loved. Couldn't be happier. Best SUV on the road!

If all goes well I'll be a new owner of a 2011 QX56 AWD black on black with Touring/Theater Package. Dealer had it listed for 49995 and if I like it they will take 43999 plus tax and fees.

Nice job, how many miles is on it and have they done any maintenance before putting it back on the lot to sell?

Battery, oil, tires, air filter, and wipers replaced per Carfax. Plus the vehicle was super clean. Mileage is at 37404. But just to make sure everything is fine I've setup an appointment with my local Infinit for inspection.

It floors me how some people will pay north of $58k for a used QX, when you can get a new one for $58-$63k.. .. just haggle with them.. they'll drop the price.. especially with the cost of freckn 93octatine north of $4.30/gallon!! And when you factor in that the interest rate on new vs used car notes are almost double.. the used QX doesn't make sense.

Just Plugged the Plug

Hi Guys,
New to Infinity and the Forum. I just made a deal on a 2012 QX56 Loaded w 16k Miles on it. I traded my Yukon XL, and get it this Friday.

Is there a Post on Features you found on your QX56 ?
My garage car is an '09 M6. Bmw had a post on the forum that had features listed that I had no idea the car had ...

Not that I know of but that might be something the mods can assist with putting together as a sticky!

Exactly!

For added assurance .. take the proposed vehicle you are wishing to purchase to any reputable auto body and have them look it over.

My son was lied to about his used JX purchase from an Infiniti dealership. 2 weeks later .. an auto body person mentioned to him it had been repainted and possibly wrecked. Carfax does NOT always report what was repaired in the back yard.

Son also was told vehicle was traded in by a long time customer. I found out from my friends in service it was actually purchased at an AUCTION! hello .. for those wishing to save bucks by going used .. please think again. Dealerships will do anything to sell anything!

PS: After holding an alter call with the salesman, new car sales manager and new car sales director, finance director and a letter to the owner .. the dealership miraculously took the vehicle back, made him whole, with regards to the finances, and placed him into a NEW vehicle with no lost or any additional monies.

You won't get in a new QX where I live for $58K...not on a Tech model. Not even close...base? Eh...probably so. I have a better chance of getting 12-16k off an new Lexus LX

not sure what you mean by "features". all you need to know is in your owners manual.

if you are unsure what options you have, call an intiniti dealer, give them your VIN and they will tell you what trim level you have.

is there something in particular you are looking to address that's not clear in your owners manual? im very in tune with this model so I (and others here) can help with any questions.

also suggest a stroll around the forum at some of the threads already posted.

welcome to the forum. hope you stick around.

I just went through the process of purchasing a QX56. I test drove a 2014 Base model, listed at $66K. The dealer was willing to let it go for $59,500. Loaded it was list around $79k.

I purchased a 2012, 4wd, loaded, black on black, w/ captains seats, 16k miles for $51k. I will take possession This Friday !!!

Hope this helps.

there are no hidden features on these vehicles.

the operators manual is spot on with all of the features this car has.

I experienced that with all the dealers in the area I was willing to travel to look for a QX...coming off the price for base models or those with the theatre model...but not moving much on Tech models.
