I have a 96 i30 with 236k+ miles. I have owned it personally since the beginning of the summer and it ran like a dream but about a month ago my battery died out. Recharged it, life went on, died again. Got the battery tested, it was faulty so I bought another one, and the car kept dying. I took it to a different shop, they thought it was the battery too so I bought ANOTHER one. Well after all of that, I took it to a shop who knew what they were doing and they saw that there was current being drawn from somewhere. The only problem is they could not find where it was drawing. All the fuses were pulled, alternator, voltage regulator etc. Everything was tested and they could not pinpoint the location of the draw. It is really bugging me as I am a college student and I don't want to pay a few hundred dollars to go to the infiniti dealership for a dyno exam. Any ideas? there's gotta be a faulty switch somewhere.
