The “Reverse Tilt-Down” feature will move the glass on the outside mirrors downward when the gear selector is placed in the Reverse (R) position. As the mirror glass moves downward, it may reach the end of its travel. If the mirror glass reaches the end of its travel it will make a clicking noise. The clicking noise may occur once or multiple times.
Does anyone have access to the subject TSB? Outside mirror on my 2011 QX56 clicks when I put vehicle in reverse and dealer says they are not aware of a TSB for that problem. However, the statement above is from an Infiniti TSB.
Am curious as to what the TSB might say regarding a fix or cause.
Thanks.
