So I have a infinite qx56 2004 suv and I have been having issues with it lately. It started with it not starting one morning and so we jumped it and it ran for a hr and then I turned it off and tried to start it again and when I did it started but it was like the connection was weak and the car started shaking stuttering and then stalled or just quit working entirely. The cars lights and electronics will work fine but if its in reverse and that happens it wont let the car move when pressing the gas.We originally thought it was the fuel pump and so we tested it and the pump functioned as normal so now were arnt sure what the problem is.The car wont start anymore if it does itl idle for a little but but wont stay on long enough to even move the car.All fuses are not blown we have checked.Battery is new so that shouldnt be the issue. The codes that are coming up are
P1148-(air ratio sensor )important*closed loop control function (bank1)

P1051-(air fuel ratio sensor)

P1168-closed loop control function bank 2 (heated oxygen sensor)

P1031-air fuel ratio sensor 1 (heater control circuit low bank 1)
We are not sure where to locate these on the vehicle. If someone could help us solve this problem id appreciate it so much.

Those DTCs you pulled shouldn’t cause the start, then shut off or even hard start issues.

The premature failure of the IPDM relay or the entire IPDM was a common issue on the first gen trucks, especially from 04-07. The fuel pump assembly as well, was prone to failing but you’ve already ruled that out.

The IPDM is located in the engine, main fuse box.
Remove the ECM relay and swap in the fog relay.
See if anything improves after doing so.

This is an old thread from another forum I frequented, but worth the read.

We replaced the driver side 02 sensor and the car started although it still needs the passenger replaced along with the heated oxygen sensor.
