Tires replacements

How many miles are you guyz getting on your spec tires??? I'm at 36k miles, and think maybe I have about 30% thread left. I think I should be able to get to at the very least 45k miles... am I pushing it, especially with winter coming?? I do hear the tires squeaking when taking a tight turn or in a parking garage.

and what replacement tires are u guyz going with.. I have the 20inch tires?

So how is the noise with the Bridgestone, roughyear ?
I know a couple people that had this tread pattern on Bridgestone's as Original Equipment and they start out quiet but get really loud as they wear.
My brother couldn't stand them after 30k on his vehicle. They seemed to quit wearing, but were hard and noisy. I had a set of Goodyears do the same, couldn't wear them out but the noise would drive you crazy.
QX has really good sound insulation, so I guess it depends on your tolerance level. Mine are still quiet after one year, (next week is anniversary) .

i'm pretty sensitive to noise, and even though the tires might be more noisy now than they were new, it doesn't bother me, and still seem quiet. The insulation on the QX is great. Now Broomhilda's car, she has a Jetta, the road noise drives me nuts, I can stand being in her car. Only time I use it is to give the kid a driving lesson.

Well... I'm upto 52k miles on my original Bridgestones... dealer says still has plenty of life, 30% or more... very impressed as on my old MB 500ML I had to replace those things every 15k-18k

Has anyone replaced their tires yet because of wearout... at what mile mark??

You are definitely getting your monies worth out of those tires, Roughyear !
Has noise increased from the tires or possibly the QX is insulated enough you don't hear any?

Road noise seems fine to me... I do hear the tires squeak though when I'm driving in a garage or on a sharp looping on/off ramp.
