I just experienced a sudden loss of power in my '09 M35, resulting in a stall while trying to merge with interstate traffic. I was lucky to get to the shoulder safely. The dealer is trying to blame it on a dirty air filter causing "sensor failure". I find this hard to believe since the car is only 11 months old, has 21k miles, has experienced no extreme conditions, and was just serviced by the dealer 2 weeks ago. Has anybody else experienced anything similar, with a real explanation?
