I have a 2006 QX56 that just started leaking at the seal (see 1st image) where steering shaft connects to rack. I do have a new seal, so am looking for guidance on replacing it without removing the entire rack if possible. I have never encountered a 7-sided "nut" (see 2nd image). Can anyone please assist? Does it simply thread off normal vs. reverse threads)? Snap ring beneath perhaps? Thank you!
