Looking for some feedback from any m37 sport owners. I have had my car for about 2months now and I have been having issues with the steering. The car constantly pulls to the right and some times to the left. It has been back to the dealer and they checked the alignment and its all within the specs. The car is just horrible to drive and I fight with it to keep the wheel straight. I had friend of mine who is a Porsche/Audi tech drive it and he said there is something wrong and thinks it may have to with the 4 wheel active steering control. Anyone else having any issues?....

steering issue

I have not had the same issue with mine...however I asked a wheel tech about your issue (I am in the process of upgrading my wheels) and it could be something simple as a balancing issue or recalibration of the active steering

Sorry that you are going through this issue :(

Haven't had those issues either unless the ruts on the freeway are pretty bad. The vehicle tends to follow the grooves in the freeway. Might be a wheel/tire issue. A buddy of mine has an M37 non-Sport and has it lowered with 22" wheels and tires and his car has even more of an issue with the ruts on the freeway. I think it's because he has a 265/35 on the rear and a 245/35 on the front. It seems like anything under a 285 on the rear will drift in the ruts....

I just purchased a 2008 M35 a few days ago, I have the same complaints about the steering. It pulls left and right. AGreed that on straight smooth roads the problem does not occur, but the slightest bumps or imperfection in the roads causes erratic steering. It is terrible to think a fine luxury car like the Infiniti has such a bad inherent handling problem!

A few tips I have received so far is that a possible tire change can solve the problem or at least make it better. I have not gotten that far yet. But it disgust me to think i need to buy tires to solve a problem that is the car manufacturers problem.

It's the tires...

If you have the original tires on the care (Firestones), that's your problem. I had a 2007 M35X and experienced the same thing....called tramlining. Other people on various problems have documented this as a well known issue. Changing tires solved it.
