Hi...new to the forum...have a 2012qx56....bought it used in march....had some sporadic starting issues....once in a while, it seemed like the battery was dead....just clicked, wouldn't turn over.....replaced the battery, thinking that was it....nope!!!.....did a little research on Google, YouTube, saw some guys talking about the switches on the brake pedal....replaced both of those.....no luck.....next stop, was a starter.....$900 bucks later, guess what......still doing it.....twice, so far.....go to start it, just get the click......of course when I had it towed to my mechanic, it wouldn't do it, but I had them put the starter in. (process of elimination)......Anyway, just wondering if anyone else had this issue, and how they resolved it, or have any ideas.....thanks!!!

QX80 2019 start problem.
I have a 2019 QX80 since Jan 2019. Twice the car has refused to start untill jumped. One dealer replaced the battery but weeks the problem reoccurred. Another dealer did a software update. I don't think the problem has been fixed. Anyone else had this problem.

2019 QX80 drain on battery
My 2019 QX80 continues to have some kind of battery drain. My son watched the factory DVD system for about 25 minutes, all of a sudden everything clicked off. A few minutes later I tried to start the car and it was dead. My dealer has already made an computer adjustment and replaced the battery...

that last thread is worth the time to smoke over. what you may be experiencing is normal due to how nissan have the charging system setup. the 3rd thread will explain this.
what was the mileage when you got the car?were you the second owner or were their others if you know? did you purchase from infinit or a 3rd party car lot? do you have access to the maintenance history on the car?
Hey....thanks for the reply....I got carfax when I bought the vehicle...all the maintenance looked good.....by the looks of it, I'm the 3rd owner.....it had 108000 on it when I bought it.....got it at a local used car dealer.....the battery doesn't seem to be the issue....its brand new...

its most likely NOT the battery but the issue is within the charging system. read the last thread i posted.
