It seems most likely that I will have to replace the starter motor on my M35X. The part itself accounts for the lion's share of the cost.
Searching online I have found VASTLY less expensive (after market) starters for the M35, but nothing specifically for the M35 X. This would appear to confirm my guess that the same starters work for both versions.
Does anyone know for sure if the X and non X use the same starter?
If it helps, my car is a 2007.
Also, looking online the starter is apparently behind the passenger wheel. Is this correct?
