Hi I am looking for some help had my Q50 for about 4 months now, and its not a pleasant, car to drive, poor throttle response, it feels like a delay before it can pickup the car is a Automatic, my first time owning a Auto, wanted 1 of these cars for years, had a Audi A4 before this and after 4 months of this torture, I wish I had kept it. I am finding it hard to get to the bottom of the issue, recently had the mechanic look at car he checked for codes none found, he took it for a test drive and confirmed that what i was feeling was not all in my head, he felt that the car when throttle applied dipped then accelerated and the Gearbox was notchy and that possible that transmission needed a full service, car came with full service history apparently. This fault is driving me bonkers, I know something not right I just dont know what or where to look and also i am finding it very hard to get hold of service parts/kits for a transmission service, I am sorry if the question has been asked before its just that I cant find the answer can anyone help me please also I have a uneven drive from front of car but that might be down to 2 different makes of tyre on the front axel. thanks in advance.

a bit of an update on this since my last post i had the Transmission serviced, but also then got a issue with the ABS light and the Antiskid light coming on, When Diagnostics run on car was coming back with Rear Sensor issue, when tested out Rear Sensor metering out fine, fault has been traced back to pin 18 on the Abs/Antiskid pump is all go. as the infiniti is no longer sold in the UK and they have closed all the Dealerships, part for these cars and availability are very rare indeed and the prices for Example the Rear Speed Sensor in the UK is about £500 or very close to that an ABS pumps are impossible to find brand New having to look all over Europe for Second hand parts/salvage to replace the dodgy pump.

Another update, after i got the replacement ABS module and Rear speed Sensor fitted, got car back then i had issue with what seemed to be the brakes locking wheels when going into to a junction or round a roundabout, totally undrivable at this moment in time, car is back at garage, has been for nearly a week, i will be lucky to see it before the new year Worse car i have ever had only got in july since then i have had to have Transmission service Done £300, ABS pump £120 salvage part, and ABS Sensor £119, money pit this car pure money pit in the last month it been of the road for 3 weeks out of the 4, no vehicle costing a fortune to get about without it. never mind nearly Christmas... And to top that it still has a issue with Acceleration

well it turned out salvage part had fault had to purchase another, now waiting on that part to be fitted cars been off he road for over 3 weeks, had to buy a cheap runabout which to be honest has been good fun, i expect i will still have issue with the delay on the car which i have not got to the bottom of yet.
