Should the automatic transmission fluid in a 2000 Infiniti I30 be replaced/changed?

Car has a little over 85,000 miles on it; last time I had the oil changed, the place I went to checked the trans fluid as part of some basic diagnostic service and said that the trans fluid was "really murky". The owners manual doesn't say whether or not the trans fluid is considered a "lifetime fill" thing.

I have always said if it ain't broke,leave it.An auto box fluid goes in a nice shade of red,but soon goes quote murky due to clutch pack wear etc.Providing there's no leaks nor ever been any,as in run low of fluid,just top it as necessary.My theory is everything wears the same,so put in new thick oil on a few wornish parts soon shows the cracks,Good luck

tranny fluid is never a lifetime thing, it should be changed every 30k or be ready to shell out some hard cash for repairs.

right now, it should flushed and new fluid.
