I went to disneyland this AM and I had service in the parking garage. sat radio is just like sat TV and it will experience rain fade and loss of signal as you go over trees, underpasses, high buildings. my experience with the sat radio has met my expectations. if you feel it may have an issue, take it to a shop, its still under warranty.... this is ASSUming you have an 11 up Q (your post nor subject is clear on this).
