ok.. the last two times it's rained here, I'm hearing this running water sound (like a toilet running water sound), that seems to be coming from the firewall region. Only happens when driving. The floor is not wet, but it is concerning. Sounds like a drain might be clogged or is it more sinister??:confused:

where is that A/C drain located and how do I clear it? The A/C is not on during these sounds though.........

It might be drain issue in the windshield cowl...another guess...

I had a gurgling sound in my firewall and it turned out to be air in the heater core...

hmmm... I'll look at it this weekend. Only happens when it rains

yeah in a quiet interior (no radio on, no nothing just silence) you may hear fluid in the core making its way around. its faint and should not be loud though....

I heard it over the radio... I thought it was part of a song while it was playing, then commercial comes on and the water noise was still present. Today, dry out, and NO noise.

I would pour some water in the windshield cowl and see if you see water draining....then go for a drive and see if you still hear it...

EDIT: Roughyear....did you figure this out?
