Replacement Rack and Pinion recs?

I friend has a 1998 J-30 in near mint condition except that the R+P is leaking.
Is there a particular source for rebuilt units that is known to be high quality? She does intend to keep the car for a few more years but she is retired and on a very limited budget (like some of us un-retired folks). Much Thanks ! Brian in Los Angeles area.

I just ordered a rack and pinion (complete with inner tie rod ends) from a company in Michigan called United Power Steering. The cost for a rebuilt unit (delivered) was $209 with a $25 core if I send the old one back. The unit looks great, but I have yet to install it. I was going to install myself, but am now thinking about having it done at a local shop (their estimated bill was about $225 plus $70 for alignment). I will have that done this week and will try to remember to post the results.
