Remove Drivers Seat Cover

I have a 2013 QX56 and the Driver's side lower seat cover was damaged and needs to be replaced. I found a used one on ebay but am wondering how to remove the old one. Do I have to take the entire seat out? They are the heated/ventilated version. Any direction would be appreciated.

I had mine replaced under warranty...and the SA told me that the entire seat has to come out.

Just wondering...did you make sure that seat came out one with the same package? The seats have different leather and stitching depending on package.

Thanks...that's what I figured. These seats wear terribly! I've never owned a vehicle where the seat looked so worn after 2 years. I did double check and it's the same seat cover that I have. The dealer wanted $1,800 for it so I found one off of a 2013 with 10k on it...paid $200. We'll see how the install goes.

Yeah they do...its the cushion that fails first...they flatten so that it doesn't support the leather to keep it tight...which causes wrinkles and accelerates the wear...
