Ok so about Those little lights that come on in ur rear view mirrow when u walk up to ur truck..What size are those bulbs and how do u remove them. I e search everywhere with no answer. The one on my passenger side mirror seems very dim and flickers on and off slightly. I can tell its a lot dimmer than the drivers side so I'm hoping its not a short and just a bad bulb. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Side view mirrors, not rear view mirror. The rear view mirror is inside on the windshield.

Dim and flickering is a grounding or some sort of connection issue, not a bulb issue. I'd pull it apart and clean the connections. Water may have gotten in and corroded the connection.

Right... My bad. Lol I meant side view mirror. I already tried taking it out but it won't disconnect. At least not from the bulb directly. Does anyone k ow what else it may be. There doesn't seem to be any water or signs of it getting wet b4.

An old quickie trick is to get that light to turn on and start messing with the wiring harness especially between the car and the door. If you see it brighten up or go out you know where your problem is. The problem is most likely in the mirror or door because that's where you have water and it's also where that bulb is most likely connected.

I took it to the stealer and it was under the extended warranty. They claimed the entire mirror had to be replaced.. $1200 later..
