Rear facing car seat in middle of 2nd row bench seat on QX56

Need to install a rear facing seat as we have a new addition to the fam.
We have 2nd row bench on our 2013 qx56 which does not have the latch system for the middle. Can I just use the seat belts to secure the rear facing seat in the middle (Britax Bsafe)? Will it be safe and approved?
I already have a car seat on the left on the 2nd row and ideally want to keep the right side on the 2nd row without a seat so I have access to the 3rd row.

Anyone been through this before?

Yes you can do it. Follow the manufacturers instructions that came with the seat. The biggest thing to remember is to put your knee into the seat and put all your weight into it as you are pulling the straps tight. Car seats need to be secure.
