I just replaced the compressor(aftermarket) on my wife’s 2016 QX80. However it is not lifting the rear end when you start the car. You can make the compressor work by bypassing the relay. So the compressor doesn’t seem to be defective. Is there something else that needs to be reset or reconfigured to make this work? The auto leveling sensor has been replaced as well. I have disconnected the battery overnight to see if that would help reset things, but it is not helped. Looking for any suggestions!!

When the components of the rear air leveling system fail, it’ll store DTCs and it can prevent said system from operating correctly. Either an expensive visit to a dealership or finding a reputable shop that utilizes a full range diagnostic tool to read, clear any DTCs and reset the rear air leveling system.

It ended up being in installed the auto leveling sensor upside down. Once it was oriented correctly, the compressor came on
