Rain Leak

So every time it rains, I find a puddle of water in my front passenger floorboard. The car was stationary during the rain so I don’t believe it’s a leak under the car. Sunroof drain lines have been cleaned out already so it’s not that either. All of the door seals look fine as well.

I’ve been researching this issue and have been told about reported leaks in the firewall. Find a competent water leak detection shop who can diagnose the leak and make the repair. Call local dealership for recommendations.

The the drain tubes for the sunroof come down into the car through the forward frame where the side airbags are located behind the dash and through the firewall. The valve at the firewall is defective and gets clogged easily and water floods back in to the car under the floor boards. Mine if filled with a few inches of water.
